The moment was as joyful as it was unexpectedly tragic.
For 2 individuals so connected by dance, words just would not suffice.
As we gazed into each other's eyes, I knew right then and there that this love was too good to last. We had been burning the candle from both ends. Trying so hard to make it work. To bridge the gaps of distance and time to share a single moment with each other. Sometimes two people that are perfectly right for each other can meet at the wrong time and place. Such is our story... The moment was so bittersweet. It hurts to end a relationship, but a part of my heart was happy that she would be free to share her love of dance with others. Meanwhile, I would dedicate myself to mastering that steps that only doctors and patients do in the dance floor of optometry. One day, we'll look back on this day and be able to say it was for the better.
